a friend of mine has this old rigid framed chopper he built back in 1979.
i have memories of watching him ride it from my childhood.
well the back bone broke.
he had some i-beam.
soooo, we built a frame jig >;o} !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we been needing this for a loooong time.me and all my buddies got all kindsa projects that need to be on a frame jig at some point.makes doing frame work a whole bunch nicer. and it is universal,
i can lock any frame i can dream up down on this.
so we fitted a new 1 1/2 inch .120 wall dom back bone.
in place of the original 1 1/4 x .200 or so wall thickness.
here is a crappy shot of it with backbone fitted.
unfortunately the camera died so i don't have pics of the finished tig welded out frame on the trailer heading down the road {-_-}.................
