boring the stem out of the zx triple to use it as the bushing to hold the kz stem in.  

here you can see the counterbore that the step on the bushing that i welded to the stem will register on.  

some green loctite and .005 press fit makes sure it is there to stay.

the hole in the zx upper triple was already the right size to match the kz650 stem,yay =).

i'm thinkin a bolt with some nicer chrome might be in order here  :O).

here it is all pressed into it's new home.

been busy,camera went missing,running on the backup shop camera {-_-}.
doin a  stem swap kz650 to zx636.
had to machine the weld off and then remove the stem.then decided the slickest way to lock it all together was,with a custom machined stepped bushing that i would tig weld to the stem.so that i can bore out the zx triples and machine a step that the step on the new bushing will lock up against.
